Halloween Supplies for your Classroom Party

Have you been looking for supplies for your classroom Halloween party, but don’t know what supplies to buy? Halloween is almost here and most schools typically have a party for students. Kids and teachers get dressed up and parade around the school. Families come to help kids celebrate. If you are a teacher or a parent on the party planning committee for this year, here are some supplies for the classroom and activities you might enjoy.
- Incorporate themed incentive charts and motivational stickers into your routine. These supplies for your classroom are great and will motivate students. When you are grading papers or writing notes to students, use these and you will be sure to delight students.
- Halloween bulletin board sets are a fun way to decorate your bulletin boards. These will add festivity to your displayed work.
- Halloween pencils can get kids into the spirit of the holiday. You may want to give pencils to students instead of a sweet treat. I purchase enough pencils to pass out to trick-or-treaters at home.
- Games are a great activity at a party. I have a holiday themed bingo game for each party. Bingo cards are easy to make. At the Halloween party, kids use Candy Corns as markers.
Remember to keep things simple. Halloween parties can be very busy with costume changes. If you are having a costume contest, think about using some of the classroom supplies as your prize. Also keep in mind that any extra materials that you have left over, can be used next year. If you have extra materials that you don’t plan on using, you can donate them to an organization that does an annual Halloween party. The great thing about classroom supplies is that there is no expiration date! Enjoy your celebration!

Classroom Decorations – Fun Seasonal Items

- Cover of Fall (Four Seasons Series)
Classroom decorations can transform dull, boring spaces into bright and festive ones. When Fall begins, the holiday season gets well underway. Various groups around the world celebrate seasons changing and the holidays that take place. Do your classroom decorations reflect these changes and celebrations? Here are some idea on how you can incorporates these changes into your classroom, home school, kids’ activity group, or church group.
Classroom decorations include fun bulletin board sets, accents, charts and posters, window clings, and seasonal decorations. How you use these decorations is up to you. Bulletin boards are everywhere! Schools, churches, and homes all use them in different ways. It is fun to add a border to make information more noticeable. I have even used borders to make my own defined bulletin board space on a blank wall space. I have seen teachers use boarders on dry erase boards to separate teaching areas. They jazz it up by changing the borders with the seasons.
Halloween will be here soon, and I know that we are getting ready for the Fall Festival at our church. We will use accents, chart toppers, and window clings to decorate game booths and doorways. Along with school carnivals, classroom parties, and family celebrations there are many other events that you can use seasonal classroom decorations. For instance, PTA meetings, parent workshops, book fairs, fundraisers, and sporting events are other activities where you can post decorations to create a fun environment.
One of the benefits of purchasing classroom decorations from a teacher supply company is that items such as accents and letters come in sets. When you are decorating a large area this is beneficial. Also, teacher supply stores have many resource books that have suggestions for activities to go along with various themes.
